One booth gave out COVID-19 vaccinations while another provided free haircuts to kids. A table setup by the Worcester Public Library promoted a program called “Artivism,” which encourages creative youth expression through community volunteer work.

“I think this is the best one we’ve done yet,” event organizer Jayson Domingues said. “It was a lot like last year’s, but bigger and better, more people came out, more musicians performed, more vendors were included. Last time we did this, COVID was just ending, but now we’ve really gotten into our stride.”

The event was organized by the youth-led group, “The Platform,” in association with the City of Worcester, Greater Worcester Community Foundation, Worcester Culture Coalition and Create 508.
